if child feels irritiablity and tries to put all the things in mouth along with the symptom which you have mentioned ,it should be teething pain which causes discomfort to him .
so , in this , i adivse to give gentle massage with your clean finger on sore gums of your child.
give soft ,less spicy food items to eat .
