Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello .. I have 1 month 7 days old baby girl..she was born pre term on 36th week ..her birth weight was 2.7kgs n now she is 3.4kgs..I give her 60ml formula milk twice a day n rest of the times breast feeding.. I give her formula milk with spoon but she cries alot and very fussy..when I tried giving milk with bottle she drank easily..doctor told me not to use bottle for feeding..pls suggest what I need to do..

A. hi your baby is born prematurely by 1 week though her weight is quite normal.you need to offer breast feeding every time baby is hungry.try feed on single breast in single session and if baby is still hungry give formula milk

A. Hello dear parent, although bottles are widely used for babies. The only thing is you should take very good care of your bottles after each use. Wash thoroughly and must sterilize after every use. Also.change the bottle after a certain period of times. Your doctor is not wrong for bottles. As bottle is the main cause of infection
