#asktheexpert hello Dr. my son is 5 year 11 months. He often suffers from viral fever. Besides, this he is complaining of sputum in his chest. The problem of sputum appears every 15 days. Please tell me any solution.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. recurring and non resolving cough and cold is commonly due to allergy and less likely due to infection. can be due to either allergy or infection or both. alxong with cough and cold medicine nebulization will be required and your doctor will guide you regarding this. take a follow up with your doctor if thde cough and cold is not improving with 3 days of medication .
it is very important to give proper inhaler as well as proper method of nebulization for better recovery
