#AskTheExpert hello Dr.my son 20 months old but he is not talking more words properly.he is talking only 2words mummy and baba.please give me any advice.

A. Hai good morning !! By one and half years age babies speak small two letter words calling with relation ,identify things ,day to day words around 20-30 words showing things and say name,calling mama,dada,papa,hai ,bye ,rejecting things with words. As baby's speech is less compared to age check other milestones gross,fine motor skills,eye contact,pretend play,mingling with kids ,responding to commands. Consult developmental paediatrician or speech therapist for assessment. Avoid screen time TV,mobile,Laptop,Tab engage in activitites,out door play,baby gear,playing in parks with kids,peers will help a lot.
