#asktheexpert hello dr.my daughter is 9 months old but she hasn't taken out any teeth is it normal? pls guide

A. yes it is totally fine some kids get their teeth a little late and you can wait till the age of 18 months for the first tooth to erupt in your baby's mouth

A. Usually teething starts around six months. But there can be early teethers as well as late teethers. Some start teething at three months and some babies start teething only after a year. Teething can also be impacted by hereditary reasons. If father or mother were late teethers then so could be the baby too.
