Q.

#AskTheExpert hello Dr my baby is 12mnths n erupting her upper incisors .. she is having not having any food .. loss of appetite.. before she eats well , nw rejecting to food

A. It is happening due to the irritation in the oral cavity and it is normal. You can give a refrigerated teether for soothing. You can give lost fo liquids or foods in liquidy forms. Avoid foods which require more chewing

A. So Give your child more of finger foods this time that really helps a lot in settling the pain into the gums apart from that it is very common to have a loss of appetite during this period so you can give really good amount of liquid and fluids to the child to maintain hydration in the body
