#AskTheExpert hello dr, my 4 month old baby is got continues nose block from past 15 days. should I be concerned? saline drops help her for some time.. she starts to cry when ever it's blocked .

Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam ingehalation is repeated frequently .

It Will be good enough if you can start giving steam to the child indirectly at least 2 to 3 times in a day along with the nasal drop that you are useless that’s going to be helpful and also you should consult your doctor for any medicine if they can suggest you for this
