#AskTheExpert Hello Dr. kumar, i am a mother of 2 month old girl ..My daughter is not taking breastmilk..she only takes for 5 min and after that reject the breast...she was a pneumonia patient by birth ..for 15 days she was in NICU. I am really worried about her weight gain . she only suck for 5 min and then stop .I am out of town thats why cant connect with family doctor ..plz help me doc ..

So you feed your child for those five minutes that’s not a problem some kids take proper latching in these five minutes also at their full so once you are back just take the weight of your child after a month if your child has gained a minimum of 400 g of this month with whatever feeding your child is taking that that is going to be ideallyWrite Your Answer Here
