#AskTheExpert Hello Dr. Hope you are doing well. I am mother of 1 year old girl, till date mostly I haven't given her top feed(tried powdered milk only couple of times in initial days only). Now she is one, do I need to start top feed like cow's milk? please suggest which milk would be best and the quantity. She is still on bf and taken it 4-5 times in entire one day and rest she is on solids and fruits. TIA

Vritika AroraMom of a 5 yr 3 m old child4 years agoA. Hi dear mom. As ur baby is one year complete now, yes u can start with the cow milk. Now the baby will be able to digest it. Milk should be given to the baby around 400-500 ml in a day
