#AskTheExpert Hello Dr. Advay my nephew is 2 years old now and he has strong constipation issue on dialy basis. he is not able to poop and has pain while doing potty. What should we do to improve his constipation problem. Thank You

Can you please suggest any brand or milk name for peg which you are talking about so that i can purchase it directly as i am not aware and also should we stop giving him cow milk then??
How many times a day should this milk powder be given?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Constipation is usually a very common problem seen in many cases where the most important causative factor is decrease intake of high fibre diet along with lesser fluid intake.
some food like junk food mfdostly containing maida and oily food can aggravate such condition.
diet modification should be tried first followed by medications like lactulose milk of magnesia and PEG .
