#asktheexpert Hello doctor! why is my 2months old baby passed stool not everyday now? earlier she used to passed it everyday for like 5-6 times but this days she only passed once and that too only after a gap of 3/4 days. is this normal?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initihiially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
