#asktheexpert hello Doctor, we have noticed that after feeding my 3 year old a slice of pineapple, her coughing has increased. can you pls confirm if pineapple is bad during cough?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. whether the child will have an illness or cough and cold or sore throat with any particular food or not (banana, curd, chocolates , sour fruits / grapesx or in case sometimes milk) is totally a individual thing.
if there is history of allergy and cough and cold within 2 to 3 hours oxf consumption of any food and you observe this on multiple occasions then only that particular food has to be avoided otherwise you can give this food during illness as well as when the child is having cough and cold.
