#asktheexpert hello doctor so many news are coming saying government and NEGVAC have approved covid vaccine for lactating moms.can you confirm this please?

A. according to current guidelines covid vaccination is not recommended for pregnkkoant nursing mothers and children so you need to wait till these guidelines are updatedor till the lactation period is over

Yes Mam even I have heard the same so it is completely your choice whether you want to go for this vaccination or not and today only some lady had posted the same thing and she has got a vaccination done so some gynaecologist advised her to continue feeding the child even after taking the vaccination if you want you can go ahead with it
