Q.

#AskTheExpert hello doctor, my son shivay has some infection so he has some blood in his stool. from 24-27 may he was admitted in hospital so he became fine and blood stopped but after 20 days he again has blood in stool. now we are again giving him medicine, blood in stool is less now but he is not fully cured. I want to know is it normal for children to some time face this problem of blood in stool or is it something serious. thank you.

A. Did the doctor tell you why the baby was getting blood in stool’s in the first place? Was it due to some Internal infection or was it due to intussusception? Only after knowing the cause we can see if it is possible to get it again or notWrite Your Answer Here

A. hello...blood in stool for just few times is acceptable but not longer period of time...show to ur pediatrician...this seems like a problem which should be seen by a medical professional....i would suggest you see a doctor to know if there is anything to worry about and to know why this is happening ..
