#AskTheExpert hello doctor, my son recently was affected by fever, so I visited a nearby paediatrician. upon their advice, I gave him 5ML of calpol syrup thrice a day for 2 days. after that he developed rashes on the skin all over the body. could it be side effect of the syrup? or something else I should be afraid of?

Your child is nine months old at is the dosage of the medicine is either 0.5 ML or 1ML it is never 5ML for this small age you actually given too much of over dosage of the medicine and which is my due to the reaction of the medicine but I probably is having too many rashes on the body
