#asktheexpert hello doctor my son is now 44 months old he is a healthy child but talk only need based is he is a late talker or something else

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child coyumfortable and djo more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
