#asktheexpert Hello doctor, my son is in 3rd month now. My parents fed me cerlac when am at this age, and they are eager to feed my son as well. May I know is it safe to feed cerlac at this age? And what is the right time to start it?

no baby should not be introduce to any top food right now
research has given strong evidence that breast milk is the best food for baby till 6 months complete nothing else is required
there is no advantage of early introduction of top food in fact it can risk infection and reduce milk supply
