it is advisable to continue the regular homemade food diet for the child during illness and it should not be heavy as well as avoid any type of packet food biscuit maida which may increase more gas formation and indigestion and give plenty of fluids water lime water and juice extracted from fruits as well as curd and butter milk for proper digestion of the food. if the child is consuming 60 to 70% of the regular diet then also it is fine
