#AskTheExpert Hello doctor.. my son is 3 months old, there are some white spots appearing on his face and body, what to do for this problem, plz suggest any advice

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application.
they will persist for few weeks and then will go away
if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensdity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation.
some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allxergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

White spots on the skin can be due to dryness.
moisturize the skin.
U can apply babyhug 24 hours moisturising lotion. This will help to moisturize the skin leaving it soft and smooth giving relief from dryness
