#AskTheExpert hello Doctor... my son is 10 and half months old. he is active baby. my worry is he is not gaining weight after 8 months... is there any problem.

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. weight gain process becomes slow after six months... child should double it's birth weight by completion of six months and triples by one year in-between there can be lots of variations

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and also baby should gain weight in every month and better to evaluate once your baby with your child doctor in person and ask for food supplements and vitamins.
