Hello mom if it’s the first time you are giving orally anything to the baby apart from your feed then would suggest to opt for liquids first such as dal or rice water or vegetable soups or fresh fruit juices. And then gradually move to semi solid and mashed foods such as vegetable or fruit purée, kichidi , porridge etc
