#AskTheExpert hello doctor. my newborn baby is just 23 days old. can we give her gripe water as she has developed a gas problem and is not able to sleep peacefully at night.

Practicing tummy time will help. Gripe water should not be used in babies.
It is not good for baby just give only breast milk.
Only breast milk is sufficient for your baby till first 6 month.
.....burp properly after each feed.
avoid any self medication.

Saima ShaikhMom of 2 children4 years agoA. if you have doubt about gripe water you can give your baby gastica drops 0.5ml. It helps in relieving gas
