#AskTheExpert hello doctor my daughter will complete 6 months from last month I'm giving her formula with mother milk , now after 6th months I have to start solids for her . so i would like to know can I give her formula with mother milk or i should stop ?

A. 6 to 8 months: 24 to 36 ounces of formula or breast milk over 24 hours (now that your baby's a more efficient nurser, you'll probably breastfeed her four to six times a day) 4 to 9 tablespoons each of cereal, fruit and vegetables a day, spread out over two to three meals.

A. hi, you can start solids like ragi ,kerala banan poridge ,upma and finely smashed rice dal small quantity of fruit juices and if you can brest feed plz continue feed and if you are unable to brest feed then you can go for formula and ask pedestrian help before introducing formula .
