Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. there is no problem if the child is sleeping on the side or the child is sleeping on the tummy.
(one important point that has to be taken care of is that the child should be made to sleep on the tummy only under observation).
when the neck holding becomes proper than you can leave the child in tummy position without any observation.
the important thing is that if the child is not having any difficulty in breathing as well as zrespiration and digestion problem then you can continue to let the child sleep as well as give feeding in this position.
but if you fezel that the child is having regular coughing as well as breathing difficulty then you have to change the position of the child
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. That is not a problem that’s the most comfortable position with kids but the only thing important is that you should keep setting the head of the child into different position like right now your child’s face is towards the right side and the left side head is facing the bed so next time it should be right side facing the bed because if the child is constantly going to sleep in one position that particular side can become flat so you need to be very particular particular with this
