#AskTheExpert Hello doctor, my baby is one month old.I am not able to produce milk so i can't breast feed her and i have to feed her excellapro 1.I have to feed her every after 2-3 hrs.pls inform if this is good to feed formula product so frequently as I have heard formula product is not good for digestion. now a days she sometimes spit milk after feed. kindly advice.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. no don't give f m breast milk is the complete nutrition to baby till first six months of age also it contains natural antibodies for baby immunity against infections and best for digestion . Formula milk should not be given at all unless advised by pediatrician . No need to give gripe water or ghutti below 6 months of age
