#AskTheExpert Hello doctor, my baby is now 4.5 months and is still taking feed every 2 hrs..just for 5 mins .. in day and night both..he is exclusively on breastfeeding.. how can I increase the time between feeds as I will be joining my office next month and it's becoming difficult for me as I don't get sleep throughout night..please advice

A. If your baby's doctor thinks it's necessary, you may have to supplement your baby with additional feedings of either pumped breast milk or infant formula. You can also try to pump and separate your foremilk from your hindmilk. Hindmilk is higher in fat and calories, which can help your baby gain more weight.
