#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor … My baby is having mild cold and as a result coughing while sleeping. Please advise.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough in a child could be allergic , infective or due to sojooime other cause like GERD so it needs proper valuation before giving any medication .
Primarily you can give steam inhalation to the child for the improvement before consulting your doctor.

give steam inhalation
use Nasoclear saline nasal drops
apply warm mustard oil on baby chest and back and feet and gently massage at bed time
use Babyhug rapid relief baby rub
