#AskTheExpert hello doctor. my baby is 8mo and weighs 9kilos. he's a happy child. we have increased solids now but only two times a day , avoiding at night. my baby has started grunting a lot and straining. I get scared when I see it. what should I do ? is this because of light constipation ? because he passes stools everyday but sometimes he poops late.. and clay like consistency

Author of questionMom of a 5 yr 2 m old child4 years agoA. he does bend and tighten his hands and face and face becomes red.. like a growling sound. poop is like clay and dry. he's pooped little not like usual

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. if it is not causing any type of pain and distress to the child and do not worry about it and if the child is having pain while passing stool and it is hard and dry stool then only it is considered as constipation
