Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, My baby is 8 months old and is teething currently. She is having diarrhoea and loss of appetite. Is it normal? What food should I give her? Please help.

A. Hi you can feed your child whatever you were giving earlier.. give your kid chilled silicone based teething rings to chew on.. gently massage the gum pad area with clean finger tip to facilitate the eruption process

A. hi yes it is . please keep your child well hydrated provide natural probiotics like fresh curd buttermilk etc to your child. offer light food like khichdi, curd rice with roasted jeera powder, upma, fruits like apple or pomegranate juice etc to your child. but please don't force feed or overfeed your child. give Massage with clean finger on sore gums of your child. provide silicone teether. provide apt sun light at least 20 minutes a day maintain good hygiene
