#asktheexpert Hello Doctor, My baby is 5 weeks old, I have a query that I don't understand whether his stomach is full or no. he keeps on sucking for hours, He stops in between and again keeps feeding. How do I know that his stomach is full?

Namaste Mom One of the best ways is to observe the weight gain progress monthly weight gain is expected in the range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by age of 4 to 6 months they almost double their birth weight You can also observe that you feel a fullness in your breast after every feed and by the time feeding is done the breast feels light
