#asktheexpert Hello Doctor, My baby is 5 months old & doesn't poop on her own regularly. I have to give glycerine suppository to make her poop. Please advise what needs to be done.

A. no problem you suppository once in a while There is no need to use any medicines for constipation in babies below the age of 6 months a baby can go without passing stool even after 8 to 10 days also it is common in babies of this age
