#asktheexpert Hello Doctor, my baby is 10 days old and healthy. however, yesterday we saw that that there were some blood strains around umbilical cord. is that normal or something to worry. please advice.

A. when the umbilical cord is to fall of yes there maybe some bleeding scene nothing to worry about just maintain proper hygiene and avoid using any oil application or powder over the area. apply t- bact ointment
