Q.

#AskTheExpert hello doctor, my 9 month old boy has strong urine odor, what is the reason for this ? should I be worried ?

A. give plaenty of water and odr fluids. as per what you have mentioned it appears to be just a normal thing and is not likely to be any problem. U do not wry much abt this and do not panic at all . Just relax

A. there is no specific limit of conjunction that a baby should follow however it totally depends upon his third level. in general by this age he should be able to drink hundred ml of water in two servings. 50ml of water in one serving.

A. than you so much.. his urine odor is strong and there is no any other symptoms.. how much water he should have in a day ?

A. if your baby's urine has unusual foul smell associated with mild fever and itching in in the private parts then it can be a sign of any urinary tract infection. because bacteria causes the foul smell in urine should therefore if you notice is the above-mentioned symptoms in your baby including a very fussy behaviour then please consult the pediatrician by physically getting your child diagnosed. although it is not a matter of worry but this should be treated. on the other hand if you see that there is no any other sign apart from urine smell then make sure your baby drinks plenty of fresh water in a day so that those bacteria gets flushes out easily.
