#AskTheExpert Hello doctor my 6 year old boy has fever for two days ..I gave colpol 250 mg 3 Times in a day n from tomorrow I started giving zifi 100 syrup 2 time in a day.. today is third day still he has fever 101 .. can I give him bath or patti on his forehead

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dos doe can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required
and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
