#asktheexpert# Hello Doctor My 6 and half month old boy is passing watery motion from yesterday night foamy motion from last 3 times He is on formula only nan pro 2 and giving him rice ganji Please advise medicine so that his motion will be cured

A. baby is more than 6 months of age having loose motions Loose motions are quite common in babies most of the ten cities because of infections you have to maintain proper hygiene to the baby e give ORS coconut water buttermilk to avoid dehydration along with zinc to the baby

A. you must always consult your pediatrician itself once before giving any medicine. baby is small , so you cannot give any common medicine. if you have just started with solid food this can happen for the first few days. you will have to identify the foods and give accordingly. the quantity is also really important. please start with small quantity. gradually increase the frequency and quantity of any new food. at this state give solid or semi solid food only once a day. give in the morning time preferably.
