#asktheexpert Hello doctor, my 4 month old son is not drinking properly milk once he consume 10-15 mnts continuously then afterwards he drink nearly 4 to 5 hours gap.. is it normal or not

A. Four to five hours gap is too much for a 4 month old. Try to feed in 2 to 3 hours. Your baby should be peeing 6 to 10 times a day which means he is taking feeds properly. Also there should be a gradual weight gain. Keep a check on these factors.
