Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello doctor my 20month old baby dont stack toys.i try to guide her but she don't sit still.she laughs and throws away toys.she is more in running around the house,climbing chair, table,railings etc.She tries to talk but those are not very clear.Neither she is learning to point her body parts or sit with a book.Her birth weight was 3.120kg and now weighs around 14.5kg and her height is aound 86cm.She sleeps very less and very active.Is it a problem.Does she have any abnormality?

A. A slow learner is one who learner at a slower than average rate. The causes of slow learning are low intellectual learning and personal factors such as illness and absence mindedness, The environmental factors also contribute to this slow learning.
