#asktheexpert hello doctor, my 2 years 7 months old daughter has flaxy dandruff in the center of her head. what could be the reason and solution?

A. Dandruff is mostly because of dead skin over the scalp which can lead to itchy skin . It could be because of some pathological conditions too. Common causes are improper shampooing malnurttrition fungal growth sensitivity to hair products sebborrhoic dermatitis . Proper care is required with medicated shampoof maintain a good hygiene and proper hydration . Consult a doctor for more severe condition .

A. hi it happens because of dry scalps so please keep your child scalps well Hydrated by applying coconut oil there use mild shampoo like Babyhug pro shampoo for washing your child hair but avoid giving frequent head baths
