#asktheexpert Hello Doctor may daughter is almost 5 months old. till now she is on Exclusive breastfeeding but now I feel she is not getting enough milk. so is it fine if I give her top feed once or twice a day?? Thank you

A. hello if baby is passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours, is alert and active and gaining at least 500 grams per month then the milk supply is sufficient. nothing should be given to the child other than breast milk till six months are complete not even water Breast milk is most nutritious supports growth is safe and complete food for baby
