#asktheexpert hello doctor, just have sent you the picture of the medicine which has been prescribed by my doc but about it I have read online that it shouldn't be given to the child less then 3 years and my daughter is 1 month old... kindly suggest

Ma’am it is a basic antibiotic which can be given to the child what you read online is not always true the doctors are much more educated and qualified they would know what medicine to be given and what not but I am also very surprised at the fact that it’s such a small child why the doctors are giving antibiotics before you start giving it you please check with your doctor again for what purpose is this antibiotic given to the child
