Q.
#AskTheExpert hello doctor.. I have tested COVID-19 positive .. at the same time my baby 15months old also got.. high fever and cold we went to the doctor ,he said there is some infection in cold and gave antibiotics for it.. but. ow she is slightly coughing.. I tested negative now. will it be any problem with my baby ?

Dr Raksha guptaMom of a 9 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. These kind of fever are usually Viral in nature .
You must give paracetamol containing medicine to baby at 6 hourly for 1 day, if fever does come down to base line you must add meftal p syrup for that spike.you can do tepid sponging with Luke warm water.
