#AskTheExpert hello doctor.. gud morning! Is keeping fingure by baby in her mouth is normal.

A. it is usually considered as normal for this age,you should not worry for now,if it is not associated with any other problems repetitively.usually it may not require any kind of treatment or medicine . if you have any more doubts,keep observing, wait and watch and& jt u can also get clinical examination done once by the doctor available near your locality and get further guidance regarding this.

Because thumb sucking makes babies feel secure, some babies might eventually develop a habit of thumb sucking when they're in need of soothing or going to sleep.
