#AskTheExpert hello doctor good afternoon my daughter is 2.9 yrs and she is not talking in sentences she just sometimes says words like give want wow so pediatrician told me to evaluate her so I contacted child development doctor they saw her videos n they told to check for autism please give advice if there's possibility of autism

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. you can always take a secondary opinion but it is important that if the conclusion and diagnosis is same then you can take therapy for it and do not worry it is only a spectrum and not a disease specific condition which will always improve with therapy

Encourage him often to talk
Give your time and attention
Tell story and play with baby often
Give healthy protein rich nutritious food
Give ultra D3 drops and calcium supplements
Try to keep head up position while feeding
Give adequate water
Maintain hygiene
