#AskTheExpert Hello doctor, asking for my son, 3 yr 7 months old he has the habit of sucking on his fingers. have heard many people advise me to put bitter foods like karela juice on his fingers to get rid of the habit. I don't want to. what else can I do to help him stop this habit?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Always start by talking to your child about why thumb sucking is a bad habit.
Apply neem oil, karela juice on thumb..engage in other activities like drawing, painting.
genrally thumb sucking is harmless.
