Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello doc...I am a mother of 15 month baby boy.... he has 4 teeth up in front and 2 down I give him food in grinded form as he is not able to chew the food of normal texture....many says they don't need any teeth to chew ...and they get habitual to grinded food .what is your opinion?.could you please clarify me...and how to wean my baby to normal textured food

A. yes it is right kids can chew small bites of normal food with their gums as well. when we introduce everything in a mashed form they get used to it and they do not try to chew the food start giving small bites to your baby and teach him how to choose by sitting in front of him and showing him while eating your own food
