Q.

#AskTheExpert hello doc, I am 37th week now, my gynac has given an option of induced labour as I am dealing with gestation diabetes, so he is suggesting tube insertion method and then paom induction with some medicines, is this treatment safe?? will the tube insertion causes any sort of injury to babybinside?? so maximum how many hours do they wait for delivery??

A. I’m guessing cerviprime gel along with foleys tube insertion. The tube is a safe way of inducing labour and it can be augmented with other medications. You can plan ahead
