ExpertDr Arti SharmaPaediatrician7 years agoA. Hello and good afternoon its an optional vaccine but better to give it. Rotavirus vaccine protects against diarrhea caused by Rota virus which is leading cause of diarrhea in babies. The first dose of RotA vaccine may be given before 15 weeks of age. Ensure that baby should receive all doses of rotavirus vaccine before the age of 8 months.
