#asktheexpert he is having a dry cough and 3.5 years old, we tried home made remedies, honey and everything but it led to too much heat in the body. what are the OTC medicines that I can refer to for cough.

first thing, please keep your child well hydrated
it is very important
avoid giving too cold, sugary and oily food items for now
apply Babyhug rapid relief rub on chest and back of your child
give indirect steam inhalation twice in a day
give mixture of jeggary pinch of turmeric powder and dry ginger powder in one tsp quantity twice in a day
