Hi When kids normally are having their teeth they tend to take the thumb like this only one of the reasons so you can check the gums of the child if you see that there is swelling and you know irritation that means your child is having teeth you can just clean the gums properly with a soft cloth regularly and start with homoeopathic medicine tablet 21 as well
