A. constipation is commonly seen in children in which diet modification needs to be done like including high fibres in the diet for which you can give seasonal fruits like papaya, watermelon and seasonal vegetables will also help you can give Daliya and oatsmeal also to your child which is rich in fibres and nutrients too. giving excesss of milk may also cause constipation, so you should limit the quantity. if any medication is required you should take it under medical guidance only.lactulose or polyethylene glycol is of good help, sorbilene is also an option but you shouldkolt give any medicine or suppository only when prescribed by your pediatrician.. medication is the secondary option.
